Position Summary
Provide friendly and hospitable service for guests including conducting check-in and check-out procedures, greeting and interacting with guests, answering the phone, and providing information and assistance as needed regarding pertinent hotel policies, facility amenities, and the surrounding local sights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide friendly, positive, up-beat, and hospitable service at all times.
· Perform appropriate check-in procedures for guests including entering credit card numbers into our software for charging purposes. Create room keys and ensure all hotel guests sign a registration slip and liability waiver.
· Answer the main phone line in a professional manner and direct calls where needed.
· Assist in the maintenance and distribution of weekly guest arrival sheets and daily in-house sheets.
· Facilitate communication with housekeeping and outside service attendants on guestroom status.
· Provide guests with information regarding hotel policies (cancellation, dress code, pets, smoking, etc.).
· Publicly support and enforce all policies.
· Promote and schedule revenue generating amenities (restaurants, bar, spa, tours, outdoor activities).
· Perform appropriate check-out procedures including correctly billing accrued charges and presenting guests with accurate folios.
· Close out the previous day at the beginning of shift. Verify that all transactions balance.
· Relay necessary information to the next shift that will allow subsequent shifts to function smoothly (e.g., special requests or arrangements a guest has made, or specific billing arrangements for a group).
· Communicate all guest relation problems, disputed billing situations, and all other unusual situations that need management’s attention, to the Hotel Manager.
· Perform additional tasks as assigned or delegated by management. This may include assisting other departments.
Education/Qualifications/Certifications
· High school diploma, or in pursuit of

· Demonstrate interpersonal skills

· Efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
· Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations
Position Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to:

· Stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a time
· Shifts may be scheduled for up to 12 hours
· Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and 5 lbs constantly

Work hours may include days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, as well as holidays. Subject to inside environmental conditions. Injury may result from exposure to the above, if safety policies and practices are not properly followed.

Compensation & Perks
· Wages/ Pay: $16.00-$18.00 / hour
